Teamwork is the basis for carrying out the philosophy of the Respiratory Care Department. The highly competent staff is dedicated to excellence in patient care and satisfaction by maintaining high quality standards in the most cost-effective and efficient manner possible.
Diagnostic services provided by the department include:
- Pulmonary function studies
- Pulse oximetry
- Arterial blood gas puncture and analysis
Therapeutic services available include:
- Oxygen administration
- Aerosol and humidity therapy
- Chest physiotherapy/bronchial hygiene
- Incentive spirometry
- CPR/emergency care
- CPAP
- BiPap
- Home care services
- Artificial airway care
- Mechanical ventilation
- IPPB therapy
- Administration of pharmacological agents
The department is staffed from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. seven days a week. Emergency services are provided 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The manager is a registered respiratory therapist, and all staff members are certified respiratory therapy technicians. The highly qualified respiratory care team is ready to meet all your respiratory care needs.
